Vanessa's voice is one of the greatest voices of Australian music.

Vanessa has had much success musically with her hit singles Absolutely Everybody, and Shine from her debut album 'The Power'.She became the first Australian female to reach #1 on the National ARIA chart with The Power. She was 18. Vanessa was voted Best New International Artist in Germany where her debut album went GOLD and her CD's have now been released in over 54 countries. She has achieved Gold record status in Ireland and New Zealand and reached no. 7 in the English charts.

In May 2008, Vanessa Amorosi released her second album, 'Somewhere In The Real World'. Vanessa Amorosi's soulful, heartfelt hit single "Perfect" reached the top position of the National Airplay Chart (The Music Network, 20th June 2008) to become the most played song on Australian radio. "Perfect" also climbed to a new peak on the Motorola ARIA Singles Chart the same week to #4 as well as achieving Gold status. Vanessa's new album Somewhere In The Real World has surpassed Gold sales.

Vanessa's performances have wooded audiences to the tune of four and a half billion television viewers at the 2000 Sydney Olympics where she performed at the Opening and Closing Ceremony. She has also performed at the Paralympics, The Goodwill Games and The Commonwealth Games Handover Ceremony in Manchester.In 2008 Vanessa supported KISS during their tour of Australia, and rocked a truly satisfied live audience at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne.

A past Young Victorian of the Year, Vanessa was also awarded a Centenary Medal for her services to Children's Agencies and for her contribution to Australian Music.

Vanessa is touring Australia nationally in June, and July 2008 doing what she loves and does best, performing live tracks from her Gold album Somewhere In The Real World. Ana was chosen out of a star-studded list of some of the most respected performers in the nation to sing "The Star Spangled Banner" for the presidential inauguration on January 20, 2005. Ana sang an incredibly powerful and crystalline rendition of the country's anthem before president George W. Bush and thousands of international dignitaries that led to a dramatic standing ovation and garnered media attention worldwide.

On October 6, 2006, Ana Cristina was invited to sing in the White House for a private show produced by Emilio Estefan and the organizers at the White House. Also present, besides the President of the United States, was the crowned prince of Spain, Felipe, and other ambassadors to various nations. Ana Cristina was introduced by the President himself before her performance and was set to perform two songs, until the President requested an encore that led to a total of 3 songs.

In 2006, Ana Cristina was chosen by the Univision Network to sing the promotional theme song for Univision Sports' 2006 World Cup Germany entitled, "You Can Change the World."
